Hajiya Fatima Tajuddeen Abbas, wife of the Speaker, House of Representatives, , has distributed Christmas palliative to over 500 Christians in Kaduna State.
The gesture was part of her foundation's efforts to support Christians brothers and sisters, the less privileged and needy to enable them celebrate the festive period with ease.
Speaking at the distribution ceremony,

said it was also aimed at fostering unity, brotherliness and tolerance among diverse residents in kaduna state irrespective of any affiliation.
Speaking at the distribution exercise, the wife of the Speaker, Hajiya Fatima Tajuddeen Abbas, said supporting the Christian community will promote inclusiveness and sense of belonging particularly during moment of joy.
She noted that the foundation's initiative had earlier provider free healthcare services, scholarships, education support, vocational training, especially for women, and distribution of food and financial assistance during other festive periods.
The Speaker's wife stated that her foundation prioritizes Sallah and Christmas period in providing support to allow families enjoy the celebration in amusement.
Fatima Abbas Tajuddeen stressed that her fashion to alleviate poverty and empower the vulnerable individuals necessitated her unwavering commitment to do more for the overall welfare and progress of the society.
Items distributed for the Christmas include food items, Meat, Cash and solar facility among others worth millions of naira.
Some beneficiaries, including Chief John Jatau Garkuwan Bajju, representative of CAN in Zaria, Reverend Father Kiletus Dawiya, and Ladi Abubakar, expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture.
They also prayed God to reward the Speaker's wife and her husband, Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, abundantly and fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
