Gwarzo made the remarks in a goodwill message issued to journalists to mark Kwankwaso’s 69th birthday, congratulating the former governor, former Minister of Defence and ex-Senator representing Kano Central on the milestone.
He commended Kwankwaso’s commitment to expanding access to education, saying his scholarship programmes had helped thousands of young people pursue academic and professional careers.
“Senator Kwankwaso’s 69 years on earth have been deeply impactful not only to Kano State but to Nigeria and humanity at large,” Gwarzo said.

According to Gwarzo, the PhD holders, professors, medical doctors, engineers and other professionals who benefited from Kwankwaso’s scholarship programmes demonstrate the lasting impact of his educational initiatives.
He said such investments had improved the prospects of numerous families and communities, describing access to quality education as a critical factor in building a society capable of sustaining progress across generations.
Gwarzo wished Kwankwaso continued good health, peace of mind and many more years of meaningful service, expressing hope that his contributions to education would continue to inspire future generations.
