The House of Representatives, under the leadership of Speaker, Abbas Tajudeen, has released the Certified True Copies of the four tax reform Acts signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for public record and verification.
The release follows concerns over unauthorized and inconsistent versions of the laws in circulation. Acting with the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Abbas directed immediate public disclosure to safeguard legislative integrity and restore confidence.
The Acts released are the Nigeria Tax Act, Nigeria Tax Administration Act, National Revenue Service (Establishment) Act, and Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act, all 2025.
Speaker Abbas reaffirmed that only certified versions issued by the National Assembly constitute the authentic law, while an Ad-Hoc Committee continues work to prevent future irregularities.
The House reiterates its commitment to transparency, constitutional procedure, and accountable governance.
