Earlier this week, the Managing Director of S. Usman Estate Construction & Co. Ltd, Alhaji Sale Usman, stated that his company does not tolerate any form of dishonesty in the business of land sales and house rentals carried out by the organization and his company.
Alhaji Sale Usman, whose office is located at Zangon Shanu in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, made this known during an interaction with journalists at his office.
He confirmed that before commencing their operations, they ensured that they possessed all valid documents and legal approvals required by law, in order to avoid any problems and to ensure transparency and trustworthiness in their dealings.
Alhaji Sale Usman expressed gratitude to God for the opportunities he has received despite being a young man, stating that this has helped him achieve a decent livelihood and earn the trust of community leaders.
He added that the business of house rentals and land sales is a legitimate, genuine, and trustworthy venture that is conducted according to laid-down rules, although it sometimes faces certain challenges.
The company’s head also stated that beyond providing shelter, they contribute to improving community security by properly screening individuals who purchase land and houses in the area.
He therefore called on local authorities to support them so they can conduct their business in an orderly and peaceful manner.
Alhaji Sale Usman further revealed that his company provides employment opportunities for many youths, noting that a large number of young people work in his office as well as within the association of house rental and land sale agents in Sabon Gari Local Government Area, which shows their contribution to reducing youth unemployment.
However, he expressed concern over what he described as harassment by some security personnel, especially police officers in the Samaru area, instead of cooperation, stressing that there is a need to work together to improve security and development in the area.
In conclusion, Alhaji Sale Usman advised youths to embrace vocational skills and businesses, no matter how small, so they can be self-reliant and take care of their families.
Similarly, some traditional rulers and community leaders have affirmed their confidence in the contributions made by Alhaji Sale Usman in the area, while also attesting to his good character and respect for the people.
