An individual like Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), is one of the people that Nigeria has with clean hands. He is a reputable figure, a not corruptible personality of record and an excellent administrator who has worked with integrity and prudence.
Sahara Reporters story titled: EXCLUSIVE: "Fraud, Job Racketeering Scandal Rocks Nigeria’s Technical Education Board As Staff Accuse Bugaje Of Flouting Service Rules" on the 14th August, 2025 is a one sided story published by paid masters to only tarnished the personality of Professor Idris M. Bugaje is well known on record as an outstanding administrator that never has a record of corruption.
As the Executive Secretary of the NBTE, Prof. Bugaje has demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive positive change in the technical education sector. His tireless efforts to improve the quality of education and promote innovation have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.
